Training Tips!

We all have been in awe when watching someone adept in their trade do their work with mastery.  How many times have we seen a fellow Hooper bust out and blow our minds with their grace and style?  Rarely does someone wake up with those kinds of skills; it takes hours...even a lifetime of discipline and practice.  Let’s join together this year to see just where we can go with our hooping practice! Make that commitment to touch your hoop EVERY DAY this year and watch what magic unfolds!
Here are some training tips to help you along the way:
  1. Get a journal to keep track of what you are doing and where you have been.  A video journal is always a fun way to go too!
  2. Update your music so you have a large pool of inspiration.
  3. Set an intention or dedicate your practice before you start.
  4. Create some sort of order to your practice.  I recommend dividing into three parts. The first third focuses on the fundementals. The second is on tricks or other things you are trying to accomplish.  The final third is all about play and flow.
  5. Share your experience! Go to this new blog: http://hoopdazzlepersonalpractice.blogspot.com/

Great new blog and intention Mollie! Perhaps I will find inspiration in jumping on the social media bandwagon, considering it has taken me three tries to post a darn comment. I look forward to finding my own intentions as I explore gettin' my hoop on! Thanks for being awesome Mollie!
