HoopDance class last night! Personal pracitce idea: Core Hooping Exploration

What a delight to see everyone spin in splendor!  Each of you seemed to break free, break through limitations and explore new ways of moving in your hoop. I am so impressed!
There is always a way to push beyond our comfort zone regardless of skill set.    Last night we played with one of the fundamental principles of hoopdance in the beginning of class.  We worked the hoop on our core--in both currents, moving our appendages and exploring space.  Continue to practice core hooping through what might feel like complete monotony until you have a break through.  Explore the point of contact and the relationship between open and closed spaces.  Play with tempo. Give in to sensation!  Feel the movement of the hoop!
